"The resort itself was very nice, with excellent and friendly staff and service. The food in the all-inclusive restaurants was actually very nice and some like the French restaurant were actually quite fancy -- but be warned that they serve portion sizes fit for everyone else in the world except Americans used to Cheesecake factory plate sizes. The buffet was large with a great variety of foods but quality suffered greatly compared to the restaurants. If you visit without kids, I would stick with the restaurants for every meal (private grill at beach for lunch and fancy restaurants for dinner). Restaurants have no reservations so either show up early for dinner or be prepared for a small wait to get in. The private beach was clean and excellent, and we never had any problems finding an available lounge chair with shade (you need the shade since the DR sun is brutal). The multiple pool areas were excellent, with a swim up bar in the main pool and waiter service at other pools and on the beach. Room was very nice, with nicely updated bathrooms and huge two-person showers. If you visit the beach, be prepared to be constantly accosted by salespeople trying to sell you excursions (From the Free Willy company). We booked a fishing excursion with the people on the beach, and while you can haggle with them to get a low price, the experience was not great so you may definitely get what you pay for. Overall, my stay was GREAT and I would highly recommend Jewel Palm Beach"

"this was an amazing experience with my wife in this hotel The place is big enough to spend time walking and shopping not boring at all. Amenities are nice at night time with the animation team Shows almost every single night ,very elaborate shows at the theater. Food in every restaurant and buffet was A super variety and fresh i was surprised because I'm those that choose fish and seafood over everything else and there was plenty of choices. Buffets boths loaded all the time . We spent 7 nights at the adult's area which is quite and convenient for those that like it Our bartender Domingo this guy make us feel like kings very warming personality Lissandra and Clarivel too those guys are nice team. By the way Premium Drinks in every bar if you are the whiskey tipe like me there is many choices Chivas and black labels companions you all the time Overall this was an a experience that i would like to repite in the future and recommend to everyone in my entourage . thank you guys for make my money worth"
